Rajulu’s Story:

Our friends in India came across Rajulu laying on the curb of the street and they stopped to ask if she was okay. She explained that she had given her entire property and home to her son-in-law as a dowry when he married her daughter many years ago. Since then, Rajulu lived with her daughter and son-in-law and cooked their meals, did laundry, cleaned, and served them in every way. Then one day Rajulu became sick. She could no longer serve her
daughter or son-in-law. However they could not afford to pay for the medical expenses or to take Rajulu to the hospital. They no longer had a need for her, and eventually they kicked her out of the
house. The same house Rajulu had raised her own daughter in. She was now crying on the side of the curb and she said to our friends, “I think I’m just going to die.”

“No!” Our friends said, “You don’t have to die! Please come and live with us.” And they took Rajulu into their own home. Since then, they have taken 2 more elderly into their home, and 12 abandoned elderly have come knocking on their door, asking if they could also take them in. But they had no resources to care for so many. So they started praying and sharing with us the vision God put on their heart to open a home to care for abandoned elderly in India. God heard the cry of their hearts, and provided the building, just adjacent to their house and built on their own property. The building has just been finished in October, 2022. Brilliant Light International had the blessing of praying for the dedication and commissioning of this building to the Lord. We served a hot meal to 14 elderly who are waiting to move in. Will you help us continue to serve them every day? They are precious to God.

Your donation is fully tax-deductible, and will provide dignity, safety, and loving care for abandoned elderly in India.
